1. Who We Are

Falah Fintech Private Limited (“Falah”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the Falah mobile application and related website (the “Service”).

The Service provides Shariah-compliant stock screening tools, zakat calculator, inheritance calculator, purification calculator, Qur’an access, AI-powered educational chatbox, and financial educational insights.

All features are provided strictly for educational and informational purposes only and are not intended to replace professional advice.

2. Important Disclaimer

Falah is not registered with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) and does not provide financial, legal, tax, or religious advisory services.

All outputs, including AI responses, calculations, and screening results, are informational in nature. Users are solely responsible for verifying information and making their own decisions.

3. Information We Collect

We collect personal and technical information necessary to operate the Service. This includes account information such as name, email, phone number, login credentials, and subscription details.

We also collect device and usage data including IP address, device type, operating system, app version, session activity, and crash logs to maintain performance and security.

4. Calculator & AI Inputs

Users may voluntarily enter financial or personal data into calculators for zakat, inheritance, or purification calculations. This data is used only to generate outputs.

When using the AI chat feature, user inputs (questions or prompts) are processed to generate responses.

Interactions may be logged to improve system performance, detect misuse, and ensure safety.

AI responses may be inaccurate or incomplete and must not be relied upon as professional advice.

5. AI Data Processing & Third-Party Sharing

To enable AI functionality, certain user inputs are transmitted to third-party AI service providers. This may include text queries, contextual prompts, and minimal technical metadata.

These third-party providers process the data solely to generate responses and are contractually obligated to maintain confidentiality and security.

We implement data minimization practices and only share the minimum required data necessary for functionality.

Before using the AI feature, users are informed and must provide explicit consent to such data processing.

Users are strongly advised not to input sensitive personal, financial, or identity-related information into the AI system.

Falah does not use AI data for independent profiling or sale, and does not permit unauthorized reuse of user data by providers.

6. Advertising (Google AdMob)

Free users may be shown advertisements through Google AdMob. Premium users will not see ads.

We use non-personalized advertising, meaning ads are not based on behavioral profiling.

AdMob may collect limited technical data such as device identifiers, IP address, and usage metrics.

Users can control ad preferences through device settings. Google’s Privacy Policy governs such data collection.

7. How We Use Data

We use collected data to operate and improve the Service, generate AI responses, provide support, detect fraud, ensure security, and comply with legal requirements.

Data is processed only for legitimate purposes and not for unauthorized commercial exploitation.

8. Data Sharing

We may share limited data with trusted service providers such as cloud hosting providers, analytics services, OTP/SMS providers, advertising partners, AI providers, and security systems.

We may also disclose data when required by law or to protect rights and safety.

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data to third parties.

9. Data Retention

Personal data is retained as long as necessary for service provision and legal compliance.

Security logs are typically retained for up to 60 days. Billing data is retained as required by law.

We implement industry-standard measures including HTTPS encryption, authentication controls, and restricted internal access.

Despite best efforts, no system can guarantee complete security, and users acknowledge inherent risks.

11. User Rights

Under applicable laws, including India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP) 2023, users have the right to access, correct, delete, or withdraw consent regarding their data.
